After a fire broke out in a house in Huglfing, a dead person was found inside.
The cause of the fire is still unclear.

- On Thursday, November 25th, a fire broke out in a single-family house in Huglfing, Upper Bavaria (Weilheim-Schongau district).
The fire went out by itself - but for the homeowner any help came too late.
After fire in Huglfing: man found dead in the house - first findings
At noon, according to the police report, an 86-year-old was found dead in his house.
A forensic investigation revealed that a fire had broken out in the kitchen area.
This later went out of its own accord. After further investigations, the investigators are currently assuming that the man living alone died as a result of smoke gas poisoning.
The officials estimate the damage to property at around 30,000 euros.
On site, the Weilheim police took over the investigation.
No information can currently be given on the exact cause of the fire.
According to the police, there are no indications of intentional arson or external interference.
