Hamburg's Mayor Peter Tschentscher (SPD) is open to a general compulsory vaccination against the corona virus in Germany.
"I do not consider a general vaccination requirement to be ruled out if a sufficient vaccination quota to overcome the pandemic cannot otherwise be achieved," Tschentscher told the "Hamburger Morgenpost" (Friday).
"However, it is difficult to implement legally and politically, takes time and therefore does not help in the acute pandemic," said the mayor.
Hamburg - In any case, the federal government should introduce compulsory vaccinations for employees of inpatient facilities and services as soon as possible.
