After a wild boar infected with African swine fever was found near Marnitz (Ludwigslust-Parchim district), three other animals in the region tested positive.
A spokesman for the Ludwigslust-Parchim district told the German press agency on Friday that it was wild boars that were killed in a driven hunt in the Ruhner Mountains a week ago.
Marnitz - A total of 17 hunted animals were examined in the laboratory.
The first case of African swine fever in a wild boar in MV was identified in connection with hunting.
Drivers had found the dead rookie and brought it to the laboratory.
The findings were then available on Wednesday.
