A new stage has been taken in the revolt that is shaking Martinique.
For the fourth consecutive night, Fort-de-France and several municipalities were the scene of serious riots, despite the curfew (7 p.m. to 5 a.m.) decreed by the prefect.
Taken for targets every evening since the start of the conflagration last Monday, the police counted their wounded on Friday at dawn.
Five police officers were shot and five others were hit by projectiles.

In Ducos, in the center of the island, a gendarmerie officer, who was intervening with his colleagues in a burglary, was seriously injured after being struck by a car occupied by looters.
Operated in emergency, he suffers from multiple fractures.
Four journalists covering the events for AFP, BFMTV and the Abaca Press agency were also targeted by gunfire from men riding motorcycles.
