It was annoying enough that a truck from Poland broke down on the motorway - but the return journey ended prematurely in Weyarn: the police pulled the towing service out of service.
A towing service with a breakdown truck was piggybacked on Thursday on the A8 motorway in the direction of Munich - due to serious defects.
As reported by the Holzkirchen autobahn police, at around 9:30 a.m. on the A8 near Weyarn, officials found a Polish tow truck with a damaged Polish truck on the lifting glasses and subjected it to a check.
The truck was broken down in Austria due to a gearbox damage, it was explained.
The Polish company had therefore commissioned a Polish tow truck to bring the defective truck to a workshop in Munich.

That didn't happen at first - because the tow truck's journey ended at the motorway police station near Föching: The police had found a number of defects in the tow truck.
Continuing the journey was prevented: the tow truck had no permission to tow it, and it had not properly secured its load, the permissible total length had been exceeded and the braking system was not working properly.
According to the police report, the driver can expect an administrative offense report with the prospect of fines and points.
