The corona virus is spreading at Bundesliga soccer club RB Leipzig, but the game on Sunday (5.30 p.m. / DAZN) against Bayer 04 Leverkusen is currently not at risk.
As the club confirmed on Friday, after coach Jesse Marsch and goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, defenders Willi Orban and Mohamed Simakan as well as Yussuf Poulsen and young attacker Hugo Novoa, who is currently suffering from a muscle fiber tear, tested positive for Corona with a PCR test.
Leipzig - Several media had previously reported on it.
Orban had already left with cold symptoms before the Champions League game in Bruges (5-0) on Wednesday, Poulsen had acted as an assistant coach on the bench and was therefore very close to the team.
Simakan had not traveled to Bruges because of cold symptoms, Novoa had been substituted on for the win.

Around 90 minutes before the European Cup game between the Bundesliga club 1. FC Union and Feyenoord Rotterdam in the Conference League kick-off, the Berlin police reported the first arrests around the Olympic Stadium.
"One person was arrested after a flare had burned down, 2 others for resisting and assaulting emergency services," the security forces tweeted on Thursday evening about incidents in an access road east of the arena.

Twelve firefighters from the rescue and fire station in Hamburg-Stellingen have tested positive for Corona.
All were vaccinated and showed no symptoms, said a fire department spokesman on Wednesday.
The viral load was classified as very low.
The fire brigade said that the entire security department on duty had previously been tested for a corona virus infection as part of a planned PCR test.
