The AfD wants to put up its candidates for the state election next May at its state party conference on the first weekend in December.
The city in the Sauerland had rejected the application for the use of the hall, however, the premises were already occupied.

An appeal to the Higher Administrative Court is possible against the decision from Arnsberg.
According to the court, on September 29, the AfD regional association sent an email request to the city administration about renting the large hall with “parliamentary seating” for 530 people.
This had announced on the same day that the space did not allow this.
A reservation request from the town band Schmallenberg was approved shortly afterwards.
A little later, also on September 29, the AfD told the administration that row seating would be sufficient.
But she received the answer that the hall was now taken.
