At 7:09 am today (26th), the police received a report that a bar in the basement of Hing Kei Building, 195 Tai Nan Street, Sham Shui Po, suspected a multi-person fighting and sweeping incident.
It is understood that some people "blow the chicken" and summon more than 20 men to the scene, some even armed with wooden sticks and other weapons, and brutally broke into the bar to make trouble.
The police arrived at the scene after receiving the report, but the person involved had already left the scene. However, the two closed-circuit televisions in the bar were destroyed and more than 70 alcoholic guests were present. The police found that the alcoholic had not scanned the QR code of "Travel with peace of mind". The "Limited Judgment Order" charged 73 male and female customers, including the arrest of the 42-year-old Lin Nan.
The case was classified as criminal damage and violation of the Prevention and Control of Diseases (Requirements and Instructions) (Business and Premises) Regulations (Chapter 599F) and was referred to the Sham Shui Po Police District Anti-Triad Action Team for follow-up.
According to the police, the police received a report from the staff at the site, stating that someone suspected that there was a dispute at the site, and then returned to the site with a wooden stick, destroyed two closed-circuit televisions on the site with a hard object and fled.
Officers arrived at the scene, and after preliminary investigation, it was found that 51 men and 22 women were gathered at the site.
The officers discovered that one of the 42-year-old Lin Nan responsible persons had failed to ensure that customers in the venue used their mobile phones to scan the QR code of "Traveling with Peace". He was suspected of violating the "Prevention and Control of Diseases (Regulations and Instructions) (Business and Places) Regulations" ( Chapter 599F) was arrested and is currently being detained for investigation.
The remaining 50 men and 22 women (including 44 male and 21 female customers, aged between 19 and 58 years old, and 6 male and 1 female staff, aged between 29 and 42 years old), did not follow the law on entry Scanning the "Travel with peace of mind" QR code in front of the address or failing to receive the new crown vaccine is suspected of violating the "Prevention and Control of Disease (Regulations and Instructions) (Business and Location) Regulations" (Chapter 599F).
The officer then issued a fixed penalty notice to them.
During the operation, a 21-year-old man surnamed Mai failed to produce his identity documents during the investigation and was arrested for failing to bring his identity documents when he went out; a 35-year-old man surnamed Yang was also a wanted person.
They have been released on bail pending further investigation.
During the operation, the police towed away 6 private cars that caused serious congestion.
