Homs-Sana
On the occasion of the Syrian Culture Days held under the title “Culture is Authenticity and Renewal” and in the presence of a large audience, the feature film “Damascus..Aleppo” was shown today at the House of Culture in Homs, directed by Basil Al-Khatib and starring Duraid Lahham.
The film, produced by the General Film Organization, tells the story of a bus journey between the cities of Damascus and Aleppo, whose passengers are a group of people from different components of Syrian society, in which a series of events revolve in a satirical, comic style. Through this trip, the film monitors the reflection of the war on people.
It is noteworthy that the film is from the script of Talid Al-Khatib, and its main roles are played by Bassam Lotfi, Salma Al-Masry, Sabah Al-Jazaery, Abdel-Moneim Amayri, Canada, Hanna, Shukran Murtaja, Nazli Al-Rawas, Alaa Qassem, Ahmed Rafea, Ruba Al-Halabi, Assem Hawat and others.
