The United States imposed travel restrictions on eight countries in the African continent due to the new mutated strain of the Corona virus discovered in South Africa.
Reuters quoted a US administration official as saying today, "US President Joe Biden intends to restrict travel to the United States from eight countries in southern Africa, starting next Monday."
European and Asian countries had tightened travel restrictions to their lands after the detection of a new mutated strain of the Corona virus in South Africa, and an infection with this mutant was recorded in Belgium.
