1 - The badly extinguished ashes of the second Karabakh war
A year ago, on November 10, 2020, a ceasefire officially ended the conflict that had opposed for forty-four days, on the one hand, Armenia and the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh (the Armenian name of Nagorno-Karabakh), on the other, Azerbaijan, supported militarily and diplomatically by Turkey.
But many questions have remained unresolved since and several terms of the agreement are not being honored.
Baku, for example, has not returned all of its prisoners of war (several dozen remain).

Likewise, the demarcation between the territories of Nagorno-Karabakh integrated into Azerbaijan and those of the Republic of Armenia is not clear, causing frequent border incidents.
Above all, the status of what remains of Artsakh (less than 3,000 km2) is not specified, allowing the Azeri dictator to continue to claim the region in its entirety, although the 120,000 inhabitants who live there still more than 90% Armenian.
