Monssouri Bemmoussat, 50, did not show up for work Thursday morning. A report for a disturbing disappearance has been filed

Such a mishap had never happened to him.

Monssouri Bemmoussat, a man with a mental disability, did not appear Thursday morning at the ESAT (establishment and service for help through work) in Saint-Mandé, the medico-social establishment in which he works, near the Bois de Vincennes.

Aged 50, Monssouri Bemmoussat performs packaging and other small activities in this structure reserved for disabled workers.

Without news from him at 10:30 am, officials alerted his hostel in Choisy-le-Roi.

“He goes every morning of the week to the ESAT in Saint-Mandé by taking the tram, then the bus from Porte de Choisy to Porte de Vincennes.

He then walks for ten minutes, details Alexia Preel, head of department in the home of Monssouri.

He is a resident who is not used to running away.

"He's a vulnerable person"

At 2 p.m. this Thursday, a file for a worrying disappearance was filed at the Choisy-le-Roi police station.

The report of the fiftieth anniversary is broadcast: 1m80, North African, brown eyes, frizzy hair.

He has no tattoo or piercing.

He does not wear a beard or mustache, and has no glasses.

“He's a vulnerable person, he doesn't have any money with him.

He does not have a cell phone but has a card with the household number.

On the other hand, he is not necessarily able to show it ”, specifies Alexia Preel.

Treated for hypertension, Monssouri Bemmoussat suddenly no longer has access to his treatment.

Posters plastered on his usual route

The searches carried out in Choisy and Saint-Mandé by the staff of the home and the family of this resident have yielded nothing so far.

Posters of the disappeared are plastered along his usual tram route, and posters have been distributed to controllers.

"Either he is lost, or he has fallen on someone with bad intentions," worries Alexia Preel.

The man, who is also beginning to suffer from Alzheimer's-like degeneration syndrome, is "a very good walker."

"He is able to do all of Paris on foot," says the head of the department.

A search notice was sent to Samu Social, while the police internally disseminate the report of this disappearance.
