The merger of the Peiting retailers is bearing fruit once again: All 25 local retailers are participating in the joint Christmas campaign of the “Marktplatz Peiting” this year: “Windows in Advent” is the name of the game. Of course, this has little to do with romance and windowing in the true sense of the word. The idea is simple: each retailer displays goods from a different shop in their own shop window. One for all, all for one. “And customers can discover the variety of shops,” said Mayor Peter Ostenrieder, who was responsible for organizing the campaign for “Marktplatz Peiting”. The community is happy to support such campaigns. In Peiting, every business is family-owned - a “good basis for the future. But we are also dependent on customers who use it. "

Together with the municipality, the retailer alliance distributed a total of 25,000 flyers to all households via the post office.

“From Reichling to Oberammergau,” explains chairwoman Johanna Bair.

And then the municipality of Peiting also has a clear locational advantage: "With us, all shops are within walking distance." Another plus for customers is that they can park for free in the village - including in the underground car park of the new medical center parking is free for the first hour.

As a special treat for Christmas shopping, the shops are open until 4 p.m. on the Saturdays in Advent.

The campaign aims to reach customers from a catchment area that stretches from Reichling to Oberammergau.

“The cooperation among business people has grown very positively.
