The city of Jenin in the West Bank witnessed this evening a solidarity stand with the prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons.
According to the Palestinian “Wafa” agency, the participants in the vigil raised Palestinian flags and pictures of the hunger strikers and martyrs who face dangerous health conditions, and banners calling on the free people of the world and international and humanitarian institutions to pressure the occupation to immediately release the prisoners and retrieve the bodies of the martyrs, whose detention is a war crime and a violation of human rights and international covenants. .
While three Palestinian prisoners continue their open hunger strike to protest the continuous crimes of the Israeli occupation against the prisoners, about five thousand Palestinian prisoners are still facing harsh detention conditions, including about 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
