Hundreds of Jaffa residents were documented tonight (Saturday) in a demonstration in support of the "Old Man and the Sea" restaurant in the Jaffa port, days after the police attack outside the restaurant.
On Wednesday, the business received a 30-day closure order after its owner employed and Halin were staying illegally from the Palestinian Authority.
When the order was issued, one of the policemen was attacked and a large fight broke out between the workers and the forces.
After the brawl on Wednesday, police claimed the violence began after one of the restaurant workers, a 21-year-old man, attacked one of the officers.
He was arrested for questioning.
In the documentation of the incident, it appears that the residents and the police use violence against each other.
One of the policemen was seen spraying pepper gas at one of the rioters.
Most of the rioters and residents of the place fled the scene.
Chairs and tables, on which food was served, were thrown on the floor in front of those staying in the restaurant, including small children.
In June, an indictment was filed against 21-year-old Ahmad Daoud, the restaurant manager's son, for attempted nationalist motive murder.
Daoud along with other defendants threw a Molotov cocktail at a house in the city during Operation Wall Guard and injured a 12-year-old boy, as well as being involved in a series of other acts of violence.
The indictment states that the defendants agreed to murder Jews by setting fire to their homes.
