Erding - These are everyday wishes that Erdinger children have for Christmas.
They can come true with the “Wish Star - Erding Helps” campaign.
It starts on Monday.
A toy, something warm to wear, shoes or sweets: these are the wishes Erdinger children have for Christmas.
They live in families whose financial situation is particularly difficult at the moment.
For them there is again the campaign “Wish Star - Erding Helps”.
From Monday, November 29th, the wishing stars - 300 in total - will be displayed on numerous Christmas trees in the 17 participating businesses in the city center, and from November 30th also in the Erding Museum.
On December 5, they will also be available from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Stahl-Museum.
Eligible children from kindergartens and elementary schools in the city have written their requests for 300 wish stars.
If you want to fulfill a wish, you can pick up a star from Monday, then get the gift, pack it and hand it in with the wish star at the town hall (gate) on Landshuter Straße by Friday, December 10th at the latest.
The gifts are then passed on to the children's parents by the kindergartens and primary schools in good time before the festival.
The organizers of the "Wunschstern - Erding helps" campaign are the city and Erding's Bunte Häuser, an amalgamation of almost 100 Ardeo companies from the areas of shopping, enjoyment, culture, leisure, handicrafts and services.
