(ANSA) - MILAN, NOVEMBER 27 - The obligation to wear masks outdoors in the city center begins today in Milan, as envisaged by the ordinance signed by the mayor, Giuseppe Sala, with the aim of containing the Covid epidemic. The obligation, which will be in force for the Christmas holiday period until 31 December, requires you to wear a mask from 10 to 22 every day along the axis that goes from Piazza San Babila to Piazza Castello.
The streets included in the provision in particular are: piazzaCastello, largo Cairoli, via Dante, piazza Cordusio, viaOrefici, via and piazza Mercanti, piazza del Duomo, Galleria eorso Vittorio Emanuele II and piazza San Babila. For those who do not respect the obligation, there is a penalty of 280 euros separated within five days or 400 euros in case of non-compliance.
"Let's enjoy the Christmas atmosphere of the center, with the small sacrifice of wearing the mask", wrote the mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala, on his social pages commenting on the measure.
