At 5 pm today (27th), a black seven-seater car with a China-Hong Kong license plate was travelling along Lei Yue Mun Road in Lam Tin towards Mong Kok. When she approached Xin Lai House in Yau Lai Village, a 58-year-old woman surnamed Cai was on the pedestrian Crossing the road at the crossing, the seven-person car was suspected of being unable to control it, and knocked the woman several meters away, and the food was scattered all over the place.
The woman suffered severe head injuries and fell to the ground. Many people called the police for help.
The ambulance arrived at the scene and sent the injured woman in a coma to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. She was rescued and sent to the ward for further treatment.
It was seen at the scene that the right front of the seven-person car was damaged. The traffic police measured the distance with a ruler at the scene and were investigating whether anyone did not follow the traffic rules and caused the accident. The 33-year-old driver of the seven-person Lai was also present to assist in the investigation.
