Today, the Syrian Society for Social Development distributed 150 sheep to families returning to their homes in the farms of the town of Maardes in the northern countryside of Hama.
Jaber Al-Qassem, head of the agricultural association in the town of Maardis, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the targeted families include the families of the martyrs, the wounded, orphans and the most needy, who returned to their homes after liberating them from the clutches of terrorism during the previous period to benefit from the sheep that were distributed at the rate of 3 heads to each family with feed supplements amounting to 150 kilograms of barley, indicating that this initiative constitutes the nucleus of a productive project that benefits the beneficiary families and supports their livelihood by securing a source of material income that alleviates the difficult economic conditions they face.
A number of families benefiting from the initiative in the Hoba, al-Abadah and Alexandria farms of the town of Maardis expressed their appreciation for this support, which will constitute an important living motive for them and their family members in light of the difficult living conditions.
