The Nürnberger Volksbad has received approval for a renovation.

The process is recorded in an online construction diary. 

Nuremberg - The Volksbad is being renovated!

The place where many Nuremberg people learned to swim and spent many hours has been closed for several years.

Until now: As the city of Nuremberg * pushes in a press release, the removal of the artificial mineral fibers from the roofs will now begin with the receipt of a first partial building permit.

The progress of the renovation can be followed over the entire renovation period at www.volksbad.nuernberg.de.

Pictures, videos and text information about the renovation are shared there. 

"We know how great the interest of the citizens is in the general renovation of the Volksbad", says Mayor Christian Vogel, First Plant Manager of NürnbergBad.

"That is exactly why we will publish the individual renovation steps up-to-date on the Internet so that people can be informed and very close to the renovation."
