Although settlement operations are illegal under international law and must be stopped in accordance with UN resolutions, foremost of which is Resolution 2334 of 2016, the international community is content with statements of condemnation, as the heads of missions of the European Union countries visited Palestinian areas threatened by settlement in the vicinity of the city of Jerusalem. The report pointed out that 26 members of the US Congress from the Democratic Party called on Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to pressure the occupation authorities to stop settlement operations, especially in the occupied city of Jerusalem, and expressed their concern that the occupation's settlement plans undermine the chances of establishing an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 line. Noting that while the administration of US President Joe Biden affirms its opposition to settlement operations in the occupied Palestinian territories, it is not taking any action to stop them.

The occupation forces demolished two agricultural facilities in the town of Al-Sawahra, and two residential buildings consisting of 30 homes in the town of Sur Baher in occupied Jerusalem, and 3 homes in Khirbat Ma’in and Al-Fakhit in Hebron. They have also notified the demolition of several homes in the village of Tawana in Hebron.
