The person who entered via Frankfurt Airport suspected of being infected with the new Omikron variant of the coronavirus was fully vaccinated.
The Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs announced on Saturday in Wiesbaden that she came into the country from South Africa via Frankfurt Airport on November 21.
Over the course of the week, the person developed symptoms and then had them tested.
