Erding

- For the 15th time, our fundraising campaign for the readers' aid organization “Licht in die Herzen” will start this weekend.

Since the foundation of the Christmas campaign in 2007, the Erdinger / Dorfener Anzeiger has been able to distribute well over one million euros to the needy in the district and support social associations in doing their work that is so important for society.

So much hardship could be alleviated together.

In 2020 alone, more than 200,000 euros were raised - despite Corona, short-time work, the slowed down economy and job losses.

Especially in difficult times, our readers have shown that they stand together and do not turn a blind eye when others need our help.

Thank you very much for that!

Our readers were particularly moved by the fate of a 42-year-old mother from Reichenkirchen who suffered from cancer and from whom we were at least able to take some of the financial worries away.

One of the tasks of “Light in the Heart” is to help individual fates, for example if a serious illness suddenly occurs or after a serious accident. The other pillar is to support organizations. Thanks to the readers' aid organization, for example, people, especially senior citizens, on a tight budget can get food in the BRK-Haus Am Rätschenbach in Erding. We help the hospice association and palliative care team to achieve the small miracle of enabling people to die with dignity and at least without financial worries. We also have a good working relationship with the new Sophienhospiz in Erding. Everything is just under construction there. And here, too, the goal is to be able to offer the dying the most peaceful time possible.

Also indispensable is the work of the neighborhood helpers and the boards, which receive funds from the readers' aid organization.

Pandemic or not, we live in an affluent region.

But here, too, there is need that you don't see immediately - for example, when a child has to forego music lessons or a school trip because their parents cannot afford them.

“Licht in die Herzen” lives from many, many individual donations from our readers.

In addition, there are sometimes high company donations.

A number of companies live up to their responsibility for the region.

The Scharf bus and travel company from Tittenkofen is one of them.

Although badly shaken by the crisis, Martin and Andreas Scharf are donating 1000 euros again this year - “because we are affected by the fate of those in need in our neighborhood”.

Follow this good example and help us to be able to help.

With "Licht in die Herzen" there are no administrative costs.

100 percent of your donation will be received.

We say bless God!
