After an absence of more than 10 years, the Al-Fatwa football team returned to Deir ez-Zor and played its first match in front of its fans on the industrial field, with a meeting with Khattab Club in the Republic Cup competitions.
The match ended with Al-Fatwa winning by six goals to one, amid a crowd of more than three thousand spectators, which is the maximum capacity of the stadium’s runways and walls.
Al-Fatwa ended the first half, which dominated most of its course, advancing with three clean goals, scored by Muhammad Zeno and Uday Jaffal, “two goals.” In the second half, Al-Fatwa continued to dominate and added three more goals through Abdel Nasser Hassan, Asaad Al-Khader from a penalty kick and Abdul Rahman Al-Hussein, while “Khattab” Muhammad scored the goal. muzzle
