Faced with the new modalities that criminal groups use to extract hydrocarbons, the production company of the State Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) has 15 canophile pairs (a dog and its trainer) to detect clandestine intakes.

CNN was with the trainers of Bono, one of the dogs that supports the work carried out by the authorities as part of the joint plan of attention and strategic facilities of Pemex.

According to the Army, only Mexico, Colombia and Iraq have this type of training.
