Three Palestinian prisoners continue their open hunger strike to protest against the continuous crimes of the Israeli occupation against the prisoners.
Wafa news agency quoted the Palestinian Prisoners Club as saying in a statement today that the striking prisoners are Hisham Abu Hawash, who has been on strike for 103 days, Luay al-Ashkar for 48 days, and Nidal Ballout for 30 days.
The club clarified that the two prisoners, Abu Hawash and Al-Ashqar, face serious health conditions, pointing out that Al-Ashqar is subjected to systematic abuse, as he was transferred to the wholesale detention center, which is considered one of the worst detention centers to pressure him to break his strike.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners face harsh detention conditions, including about 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
