Britain announced today that it had detected two cases of the new strain of Corona "Omicron" in the country.
British Health Minister Sajid Javid said, according to Reuters: “Yesterday evening, I received a call from the British Health Care Agency informing me that they had detected two cases of this new strain, one in Chelmsford and the other in Nottingham.”
Britain announced yesterday a temporary ban on flights from South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Eswatini, and Britons coming from those countries will have to undergo a quarantine.
