The corona rules are followed by the majority in the Würmtal.
Anyone who does not adhere to it fills the coffers of the district offices in Munich and Starnberg.
A lot of money comes from Gauting.
Würmtal
- contact restrictions, curfew and mask requirement: These are the top three violations of the infection protection measures in the Würmtal. The Gautingers pay more for it than others. The Starnberg District Office processed 99 advertisements from Gauting this year. "Due to the large number and limited human resources, not all of the advertisements could be processed," explains the spokesman for the Starnberg district office, Stefan Diebl. Gautinger will let the cash register in Starnberg ring even more often this year. So far they have already paid a fine of 30,000 euros.
In the other communities in the Würmtal, the citizens are asked less often to pay.
The district office has so far processed nine violations for Stockdorf and Krailling - all of them due to non-compliance with the required contact restrictions.
The total of the fines estimated for this is around 3250 euros.
30 notices for Planegger
The responsible district administration authorities also received fewer fines from Planegg, Graefelfing and Neuried than from Gauting.
So far this year, the Munich district office has issued 30 fines for Planegg, 26 for Graefelfing and 18 for Neuried. "The fines imposed amount to around 11,500 euros," says spokeswoman Franziska Herr.
There is no processing backlog in Munich.
It is noteworthy that a different police station (PI Gauting) is responsible for Gauting than for Stockdorf, Krailling, Planegg, Graefelfing and Neuried (PI Planegg). The head of the Planegger police station, Thomas Sorgalla, does not want to read the numbers in such a way that the Gautingers are less likely to adhere to the rules or that there are fewer controls in his area. That is pure speculation. "With us you can no longer allow yourself." He says the control density is roughly the same in the whole of the Würmtal.
In order to clarify the question of why Gauting is fined twice as much as in the rest of the Würmtal, a different approach is required, and Stefan Diebl provides this: "You can't compare the number of cases." In the catering sector, for example The fines for innkeepers are very different from those for guests.
Repeaters pay more than lone perpetrators.
In Gauting there were different violations than in the rest of the Würmtal.
Franziska Herr sums up: "The figures show that the vast majority of citizens adhere to the Corona rules in an exemplary manner and thus protect themselves and their fellow human beings."
District Office Starnberg counts advertisements
But the numbers have their pitfalls: The Munich district office counts the fines issued, the Starnberg district office counts the reports received from the police. The two numbers are close together in Starnberg. This is different in Munich: in 2021, the Munich district office received more than 1,500 reports due to violations of the Corona regulations, in around a third of the cases the proceedings were discontinued, reports Franziska Herr. When she says, "where there are violations, the district office punishes this consistently", that is only partly true. “That is of course unsatisfactory,” says Sorgalla. But there are good reasons: some of the reports written by the police are not legally tenable, even if there was a violation. The Infection Protection Measures Ordinance is now in its 15th edition."Every time it has to be rehearsed again."
Both police stations have this problem equally.
As far as Gauting is concerned, the consequences of this may only become apparent with the contradictions against the administrative fine notices.
The cash register in Starnberg may then ring a little less than expected.
