During the discussion, high tones were recorded between the Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett and Minister Eli Avidar regarding the issue of GSS location.
Minister Avidar was heard saying during a cabinet meeting that Ronen Bar, head of the General Security Services, "fell in love with the GSS." In response, Bennett attacked Avidar and said:

Avidar's entourage sharpened their tone and said that "there is nothing to do now with his appointment to another ministerial position. Bennett's entourage actually wanted to calm the spirits and not let the issue be on the agenda.
The main fear is that Avidar will resign from his position as minister and return to the Knesset, where he may function as a rebellious MK who does not act according to coalition discipline and who will create difficulties for the coalition, which in any case rests on the tip of a ballot.
The storm occurred earlier today, following the fact that Prime Minister Bennett signed emergency regulations regarding the use of cellular locators operated by the GSS to locate verified "Omicron" strains, in order to locate the verified and thus interrupt the transmission chains. The decision will be valid until today. This coming Thursday, the 2nd of December at midnight, this coincides with the advancement of the legislative process on the subject.
It was further decided that the use of spotters would be limited only to the verified in the new breed and it is not a widespread and sweeping use for all verified, as was done in the previous waves of morbidity.
In addition, the GSS will not deal with the enforcement of isolation rules. This decision is limited in time and will be re-examined daily. In the event of a widespread outbreak of illness, the use of GSS targets will be stopped.
