And the Director of Health, Dr. Issa Khalaf, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the directorate issued a circular on the 21st of last month to drug stores and pharmacies to withdraw and destroy Diclon produced in a specific period by one of the pharmaceutical companies, due to the existence of a circular with the withdrawal from the Ministry of Health and perhaps based on the rumors that spread Recently, about the presence of deaths as a result of the injection of this substance, denying the registration of any death in the medical centers of the Directorate as a result.
The Director of Health indicated that the Drug Control Department in the Directorate has been assigned to ensure that pharmacies operating in the governorate are free of Diclone produced by the specific pharmaceutical company, calling on citizens not to mix parenteral medicines for inflammatory diseases, crapes and colds that spread during the current period of the year with a single injection needle. Because of this negative medical impact on the patient's health as a result of drug interaction.
On the other hand, the Health Directorate provided the health district in Qamishli with “insulin aflaconate” medicines for diabetics to meet the needs of citizens in Qamishli for several months.
The Director of Health, Dr. Khalaf, indicated that the Al-Hasakah Health Directorate sent to the health district in Qamishli 4,500 aflacones of insulin in its various forms, “mixed, slow and rapid,” noting that the aflacone is given to the patient for several days, according to the doctor’s prescription, and may suffice him for a month.
Khalaf confirmed that the directorate will continue to provide the region with medical medicines, in the interest of the Ministry of Health to secure medicines for those with chronic diseases.
