South Korea has launched a pilot project to use robots as educational aids.
According to the technical website "The Verge", kindergartens in the capital, Seoul, have been equipped with a small robot called "Alpha Mini" that dances, sings, tells stories and also teaches kung fu movements.
Han Dong-seog, one of the project's organizers, said the work is part of a campaign launched to provide children with the necessary skills they will need in a future dominated by high technology.
It is noteworthy that 240 nurseries have been equipped with these robots, and this experience will leave a long-term impact on children during their youth and maturity, according to Siug.
