On the BV307 in Neuhaus there was a heavy rattling on Sunday night: A young BMW driver thundered into a garden fence and a telephone pole with his X3.
- As reported by the police, the 20-year-old from Neubeuert on Bayrischzeller Straße (B 307) left the lane to the right at about 2 a.m. at number 4.
According to the police, the reason is likely to have been the inappropriate speed on a snow-covered road.
The BMW X3 broke through a garden fence and damaged a telephone pole on the side of the road.
The police estimate the property damage at around 25,000 euros.
Fortunately, the driver and his two young passengers were not injured, the police said.
The 20-year-old is facing an investigation into the disruption of telecommunications systems and a violation of the road traffic regulations.
