A British study revealed that singing and bathing in hot water helps lower blood sugar without taking medications.
In an article published in the British newspaper (Daily Mail), the doctor advised Michael Mosley to use the singing technique to lower blood sugar because this would reduce the level of cortisol, the hormone responsible for responding to stress, which increases blood sugar by converting protein into glucose.
Mosley pointed out that bathing in hot water is another easy way to lower blood sugar levels, noting that daily immersion in hot water can also help lower blood pressure, as heat expands blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to distribute blood throughout the body.
