The Central District Court granted the Central District Attorney's Office's (criminal) request and allowed the publication of the name of defendant Yitzhak Nahari (55) from Rehovot, against whom an indictment was filed for an indecent act on a minor, which he committed on his 5-year-old neighbor in a city playground about three weeks ago.
According to the indictment, filed by Adv. Meital Ilan, the minor arrived with her father at a playground in Rehovot, where they met in Nahari, with whom they know someone who lives next door to them, and even greeted him. At one point, the father moved away, while Nahari survived. This was to signal the minor to approach him, clung to her and began stroking her leg and abdomen and later also rolled up his pants, grabbed her hand and placed it on his penis. And smiles at him.
Later, the minor's father left the place, and then Nahari took advantage of this to expose his penis to the minor again, touched him, put his hand in her pants and touched her penis and buttocks.
All this, when other people were present at the scene, who noticed his actions and called on him to stop them, until one of them approached and accompanied the minor to her home.
Simultaneously with the indictment, a request for detention was also filed against Nahari until the end of the proceedings, in which Adv. Ilan stated:
The acts of the respondent were done without any fear or control of his impulses, while acting with sophistication and manipulativeness.
"He introduced himself as a friend with the family, took advantage of the girl's innocence, stopped his actions and covered his penis at times. The huge age gap as well as the fact that the respondent's actions were stopped solely thanks to the resourcefulness of eyewitnesses at the scene."
