Alongside it, supporting livestock breeders, maintaining and digging agricultural wells, and reducing the interests of alternative energy loans in agricultural banks.

The participants called for securing barley as fodder within the fodder cycles, allocating sufficient quantities of diesel for agricultural machinery and plowing operations, reopening the Al-Musayfirah fodder center, rehabilitating the Bosra al-Sham grain office, and maintaining dams on Wadi al-Zaydi.

The Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform stressed the ministry’s endeavor to secure the requirements of agricultural work within the available capabilities and its work to support Daraa Governorate to develop an integrated plan that would enable it to manage the agricultural sector in line with the agricultural plan at the level of Syria, pointing to the need to adopt modern agriculture based on the results of scientific research instead of traditional, including Contributes to the preservation of available resources and access to a good agricultural product within a unit area.

He referred to the ministry’s efforts in the field of securing production requirements such as fertilizer, seeds, fruitful plants, forestry, fodder, pest control mechanisms, restoration of the poultry sector, reclamation of quarried lands and placing them in agricultural investment, stressing that an agreement was reached with the Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources to increase the demand for diesel for Daraa Governorate with a quantity of 20,000 liters for agricultural needs.

In turn, the governor of Daraa, Eng. Louay Map, stressed the need to support agricultural activity in Daraa and increase the quantities of fuel needed for agricultural operations.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Daraa branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Hussein Al-Rifai.

After that, the Minister was briefed on the reality of work in the food processing unit in the town of Namer and the seed multiplication center in Izraa and the works that are being carried out at the Nassib border crossing to restore the aesthetic view of the southern gate. and planted with suitable trees.
