Echinger local hero Siegi Läng shows "A life full of love for art"

It is mostly the works of her students that the Echingen artist Sieglinde Läng let speak for herself.

- In numerous works exhibitions of her painting groups, again and again in the Echingen town hall, where the "town hall painting group", later renamed to Atelier 8, was located, through the community center to the ASZ, ambitious hobby painters were able to present their works to the public.

At the moment, however, Sieglinde Läng (78) from Echingen is showing “A life full of love for art”, as Läng has called her solo exhibition, on the basis of a solo exhibition at the ASZ.

This leaves an eloquent impression of her creativity and her ability and reveals a sure feeling for colors and shapes.

Works mainly in acrylic, but also watercolors

Even if Corona did not allow an official vernissage at the beginning of the exhibition last weekend, all visitors to the Alten- und Servicezentrum are invited to take a tour of the foyer to the temporary picture exhibition (until January 15, 2022) with almost 30 pictures, mostly in acrylic, but as well as watercolors to work on you.

They are an expression of lifelong artistic creation full of fantasy and joy in experimenting and designing.

Läng often looks for motifs in nature.

Landscapes, trees, often flowers or still lifes have a contemplative and harmonious effect, as do the figurative paintings that have emerged recently.

But she is also able to convey dynamism and movement - in her representational works such as a spirited flamenco dancer as well as in abstract compositions.
