A seminar devoted to the fight against "
separatism
" will be held Monday morning at the Interior Ministry, where more than 450 senior officials will meet, AFP learned Sunday from a ministerial source, confirming information from the
Journal du Dimanche
.
It will be an operational meeting which will begin at 9 am, it is specified in the entourage of Minister Gérald Darmanin.

Organized in a context of increased surveillance of radical mosques, it will focus in particular on the need for coordinated action between decentralized administrations, local communities and all State services, specifies the

The law to fight against "separatism" promulgated
At the end of August, the law known as the fight against "
separatism
" - but officially called "
law reinforcing respect for the principles of the Republic
" - had been promulgated in
the Official Journal
.
The text contains a battery of measures on the neutrality of the public service, the fight against online hatred, the supervision of family education, the reinforced control of associations, the transparency of religions and their funding or the fight against virginity certificates, polygamy and forced marriages.

At the end of September, the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin announced that he had initiated procedures to close six places of worship and dissolve several associations, all suspected of propagating radical Islamism, located in Sarthe, Meurthe-et- Moselle, Côte-d'Or, Rhône or even Gard.
