The threats against Minister Kahana are probably due to his intentions to pass a number of reforms in the field of religion-state, including the kosher reform and the outline of the Western Wall.
As you may recall, about a month ago, dozens of opponents of the kosher reform demonstrated near the house of Minister of Religions Matan Kahana in Moshav Beit Gamliel.
The protesters claimed that the reform led by Kahana, together with Finance Minister Lieberman, would lead to a disaster among the kosher community and would result in a split that could not be reconciled among the entire Jewish public in Israel.
Kosher supervisors fried shrimp in front of the home of the Minister of Religions
The demonstrators arrived at the scene with mice and rabbit cages with kosher certificates hanging under the supervision of Matan Kahana and Avigdor Lieberman.
As part of the protest, the demonstrators fried shrimp and seafood near the minister's house, in order to illustrate that if a kosher reform is approved, it will cause real and immediate damage to the quality of kosher food and could lead to prey being sold at any supermarket under private kosher.
Along with the demonstrators, dozens of other kosher supervisors are protesting who may lose their livelihoods as a result of the reform that will bring kosher to private bodies.
The chairman of the Hazon movement, Rabbi Dror Aryeh, said: "Jews throughout history have agreed to give up their lives when forced to eat non-kosher meat, and now Kahana and Lieberman want to bring about a reform that will cause a huge public to fail to eat forbidden foods." Israel.
