France has extended the travel ban that it had previously imposed to prevent entry to travelers from 7 African countries after the spread of a new mutated strain of the Corona virus, Omicron.

And the French newspaper Le Parisien reported that the French government suspended flights until midnight on Tuesday to seven countries in South Africa.

France suspended all flights from South Africa for 48 hours after detecting the Omicron mutant.
