The Moosburger Zuckerstube has opened.

This is where the hearts of Christmas friends open up.

On Saturday even the Christ Child was a guest.

Moosburg

- Because of the fourth corona wave, the Moosburger Christkind does not have too many appointments during Advent this year, but it has a wonderful place to go for (gift) shopping in the city center. The Zuckerstube opened just in time for the first Advent, with the aim of making Christmas friends' hearts open and donating to create a little Moosburg Christmas miracle for a good cause. The Zuckerstube in the former flower shop of the town hall complex is a very old type of Christmas business - from the cash register to the individual selection in the paradise of sweets. The small nostalgia shop, decorated with great attention to detail, is a real experience for visitors. The Zuckerstube was designed by the Moosburg Christmas makers: These are the four women Erna Pichler, Rita Thomas,Monika Held and Ingrid Grasmeier, who run this shop in compliance with the corona and require a mask. The Zuckerstube is open Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Until December 24th, you can buy many homemade delicacies during the Christmas season.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The proceeds of the campaign will go to the poor school winners Moosburg, who will use them to do good deeds.

Sister Renate reported about a small school in South Sudan, where one still has to struggle with many handicaps.

“The Nile is flooding and the teachers are standing knee-deep in the water in front of the school.” In the classrooms, lessons are held on clay - but everyone continues.

The poor school sisters want to enable the school to build solid ground with donations.

"Let's work out the Christmas miracle together," said Erna Pichler at the opening of the sugar parlor.

She is hoping for several thousand euros in donations.

Moosburg's mayor Josef Dollinger brought the initial investment with him.

He was happy about the Christmas highlight in the city center, "which is currently justifiable".

Because of Corona, this very special shop also meets the requirements of all shops for safe public traffic.

Meanwhile, the Christ Child has got substitute appearances.

On the four Sundays in Advent, there are Christmas messages from the Moosburger Christkindl via the Moosburg Marketing channels (www.meinmoosburg.de) in the social networks.
