In Fürth, those who tested positive for the coronavirus can now end their quarantine online.

This shortens waiting times and relieves the health department.

Fürth - The high number of new corona infections puts the Fürth health department in distress.

"Up-to-date processing of all cases" is currently not always feasible, writes the authority in Fürth * in a message.

Fürth: Those who tested positive wait too long for a discharge call

The problem: Citizens who test positive for the corona virus and have to go into quarantine often wait two to three days for a call from the health department to get more information.

Only then does the office ask your contact persons.

Usually, at the end of the quarantine, people who have tested positive receive another call from the office, after which they can officially end their self-isolation.

Here, too, there are currently longer waiting times.

Fürth: How to end your quarantine using the online form

Two online forms should now shorten the process.

Those affected can use it to send the health department the test result from the last day of their quarantine and confirm that they are free of symptoms.

A form is valid for people who have been in quarantine for 14 days and have had no symptoms for at least 48 hours.

The second can be used by citizens who have been in isolation for seven days and have not had any corona symptoms during that time.

Fürth: Submit the form and leave the house

"In this way, citizens can leave the house as soon as the quarantine ends and do not have to wait for the health department to call," writes the Fürth health department.

Those affected are allowed to leave their house immediately after submitting the form.

You don't have to wait for a call from the office or a written notice of dismissal.
