Al-Hasakah-SANA
Today, the Cultural Center in the city of Qamishli hosted a concert that included a collection of traditional Mirdiliya songs by the artist Jamal Fouad, as part of the activities of the Al-Hasakah Cultural Festival.
The ceremony, which was held by the Family Charitable Society, also included a painting presented by the two children, Sham Bitar and Lara Khoza, from Al-Sanabel Kindergarten, during which they performed some traditional songs from the heritage of the Syrian island.
Member of the General Authority of the Family Association, Suhail Bitar, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the aim of the activity is to shed light on the heritage of ancestors and care for it, pointing out that the participants presented paintings of folklore that carried many lofty meanings, including adhering to our beautiful and rich identity and increasing communication between members of society.
