The landladies Kristina and Ninja Höfler leave the Schiller Bräu.
This news alone shocked many guests.
Even more, however, how it was spread.
Munich - No more Schiller Bräu, it means from December 20th.
The name and location of the restaurant in the Bahnhofsviertel remain the same, but the faces at the bar are not: the young couple, Kristina and Ninja Höfler, are leaving.
A shock for regular guests, after all, they heard the news about a post on the restaurant's Facebook page - and it didn't come from the Höflers themselves, who have been running the business, including the hotel and brewery, for over four years.
“The landlords recently took over the Zum Alten Markt restaurant,” says the article, signed by Johanna Lindner and Arno Sonderfeld from the Lindner Group from Arnstorf in Lower Bavaria.
"We have therefore decided to end our cooperation on good terms and to go our separate ways at the Schiller Bräu."
Munich: After the end for operators - criticism of the procedure is loud
However, the comments of the regular guests do not at all indicate a “good understanding”.
Jochen Hencke, for example, asks: "How did you get the idea to remove the landladies from the Facebook page before the shop was handed over?"
But the Schiller Bräu brand and also the Facebook page belong to the Lindner Group, as Johanna Lindner
told tz
when
asked
.
“We wanted to share what will change from January,” she says.
"We have removed the landlords' access rights and posted the article."
"The emotions have probably boiled over there"
What followed was an emotional comment from Ninja Höfler, which Lindner promptly deleted - while she was on the phone with Kristina Höfler.
“I can't explain why it escalated so much.
The emotions have boiled over there, ”she says.
At least Kristina Höfler now has her access rights again.
The place went well, the Höflers have made the Schiller Bräu a well-known address.
So, as many regulars suspect, a kick out of envy?
Lindner denies this vehemently.
The landladies did not want to comment on this.
You look ahead to your new heart project - and take the whole team with you.
