- Together with colleagues from the Weilheim traffic police, officers from the Bad Tölz inspection checked on Friday in the municipality of Bichl the heavy goods traffic that was rolling over the B472.
The range of violations found ranged from non-compliance with driving and rest times to insufficiently secured cargo and excessive speed.
Police complain about insufficiently secured cargo on trucks
As an example, the police list in their report a small truck that was driven by a 66-year-old German.
Here the cargo, consisting of long metal objects, was not properly secured.
The driver was only allowed to continue after securing his load.
A fine is now awaiting him.
Truck driver from Belarus is over 20 km / h too fast
A 39-year-old Belarusian was traveling far too fast with his truck.
According to the police, the 39-year-old had exceeded the speed limit by over 20 kilometers per hour.
He had to pay a fine of 150 euros, which "to safeguard the procedure", as it is called, is still necessary on site for drivers from abroad.
Officials from the Tölzer Inspection and the Weilheim traffic police were on duty during the inspection.
