Seeshaupt - pieces of jewelery in the shop window: Christmas cribs from all over the world are shown again in the displays of the Seeshaupter shops.
The nativity scenes are shown in Advent over Christmas up to Heilig-Drei-König on January 6th, 2022. All 26 nativity scenes come from the estate of the Munich church councilor Theodor Glaser, who loaned a large part of his collection to the Seeshaupter Bürgerstiftung.
As in previous years, the association is putting together a remarkable exhibition of exhibits.
The cribs come from France, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Russia, Tanzania and other countries - and show how the different cultures represent the birth of Christ.
Among other things, a tinfoil crib from Poland can be admired in the town hall.
All nativity scenes are illuminated, which makes a walk in the dark particularly attractive.
