A BMW driver put in a momentous braking maneuver at the FTO on Saturday afternoon.

There was an accident.

The woman and the person who caused the accident then ran away.

The police are looking for witnesses.

Oberding

- According to the press report, the hitherto unknown woman drove on Saturday at 11.30 a.m. on the east airport tangent with her white BMW coming from the airport in the direction of Erding. At the Erding-Nord exit, she steered onto the unthreading strip, where she braked almost to a standstill and switched on the hazard warning lights. A witness driving behind was able to brake in time, overtook the BMW - according to the police with a Deggendorf license - and was able to see a middle-aged woman at the wheel.

Finally, another car pulled out of the FTO at this exit.

Its driver probably recognized the stationary BMW too late and turned back to the FTO in order to drive past it.

As a result of this maneuver, another BMW driving on the FTO in the direction of Markt Schwaben was forced to brake fully.

The driver of a Mercedes Sprinter driving behind it could no longer react in time and crashed into the BMW.

“The BMW driver on the threading strip must have noticed this collision.

However, she then left without bothering about anything else, ”wrote the police.

Likewise the evasive car, which drove back to the FTO and caused the rear-end collision.

The driver of the BMW hit was slightly injured.

The property damage to the rear of his car amounts to 8,000 euros.

The damage to the front of the Sprinter is estimated at around 10,000 euros - it had to be towed away.

The street then had to be cleaned.

The police asks on tel. (0 81 22) 96 8-0 for information about the two fugitive vehicles and their drivers.
