Today, there are many events, developments and situations, in and around Syria, that we witness and follow, and they definitively indicate the return of Damascus to its pivotal active role at all levels, Arab, regional and international, and it indicates its timing, and what it drew from different equations, in the military field, and in the political corridors. On the Syrian state entering the stage of recovery, and the need of the world - at least those who do not fall under the American umbrella - for this role, in order to achieve security and stability in the entire region, and besiege terrorism and uproot it from its roots, practically and intellectually.

Internally, the dictionary is replete with examples, the latest of which is at the level of comprehensive settlements, which we witnessed weeks ago in Daraa, and today in Deir ez-Zor, and before them many, which the aggression regime led by Washington and its Turkish tool tried to disrupt repeatedly to circumvent the achievements of the Syrian state. The internal scene paints a different picture, It affirms that the completion of reconciliations and settlements will establish security and safety in the areas where terrorism has wreaked systematic corruption, killing and destruction, and will restore the authority of the state over them, and will give a strong impetus to the rotation and movement of the wheel of production, and the safe return of the displaced.

On the Arab level, it is not possible to translate the talk about the return of the Arabs to Damascus, and the return of Syria to its central role in the Arab League, the latest of which was the speech of Algerian President Abdel Majid Taboun, that “his country seeks to make the next summit unite the Arab ranks, and Syria is supposed to participate in it.” This hadith cannot be translated in word or deed except in the context of Algeria’s and a number of Arab capitals’ awareness of the seriousness of the steps taken by the League against Syria during the crisis, and the extent to which its decisions at that time destroyed Arab national security and made it vulnerable to violation from far and near.
