Thousands of Czechs demonstrated today in the capital, Prague, against the restrictions imposed by the government to contain the Corona virus pandemic, as hospitals stopped receiving non-urgent cases in the face of the rapid spread of the epidemic in the country.
Reuters reported that the protesters demonstrated in a park in the Czech capital, Prague, and carried banners denouncing the measures and restrictions imposed by the Czech government last Thursday, especially with regard to the ban on Christmas markets.
Most of the Czech hospitals also stopped their work except for providing care for Corona virus patients, whose number doubled to nearly 6000 during the past three weeks. It reached two million and 123,059 injuries, while the total number of deaths reached 32,837.
