Germering - The Unterpfaffenhofen fire brigade was able to put two new emergency vehicles into service.
This involved the scheduled replacement of the old fire fighting group vehicle and the equipment vehicle, which was withdrawn from the fleet in 2017.
One of the two new rescue vehicles is designed to focus on technical assistance.
In the future, it will be the first vehicle to deploy in the event of accidents and operations that require technical rescue equipment; in the event of a fire, the vehicle will be deployed as support.
As a second vehicle, an emergency fire fighting group vehicle was also taken over into the emergency service.
With a 2,500 liter extinguishing water tank and a particularly effective compressed air foam proportioning system, this vehicle is primarily specialized in fire fighting.

Many details ensure more safety in the emergency service and enable the emergency services to be able to provide help quickly in any situation. The vehicles were taken over from the manufacturer by the Unterpfaffenhofen fire brigade some time ago, and the basic training of the team on the new equipment was successfully completed.
The two vehicles cost
around 400,000 euros each
and were financed by the Free State of Bavaria and the large district town of Germering.
