The man suspected of having stabbed his companion at the foot of his building on Friday in Épinay-sur-Seine (Seine-Saint-Denis) was indicted for "
murder by spouse
" and imprisoned, announced Monday the Bobigny floor.
The victim was returning home around 7.45 p.m. when his companion stabbed him several times.
He was pronounced dead an hour later.
A knife was found in a bush near the scene.
The companion, who had gone the same evening to the police station, admitted "
globally the facts
" during his custody, according to the prosecution in a statement Sunday.
